Intensives & Conceirge Services
Katheryn McLendon LCSW (Hope Evergreen founder) understands the value and importance of offering services to busy professionals who may travel frequently, engage in work with changing schedules, or may be located outside of the immediate area. Thus, a variety of services are available to maximize the theraputic benefits beyond the traditional therapy model. These services are ideal for corporate executatives, business owners, educators, administrators, avaitors, first responders, and healthcare personnel who want to experience the benefits of therapy in a shorter duration of time.
Professionals can avoid being diagnosed and stimgatized with a medical diagnosis by utulizing one of these services. Intensives all you to choose from extended session times and receive multiple appointments in a short time, i.e. over a weekend or multiple days in 1 week. This increased frequency and extended time spent with your therapist expediates the healing process.
Counseling intensives, flexible virtual appointments, and corporate contracts for on site counseling/coaching are available upon request from our President, Katheryn McLendon, LCSW.
Katheryn can design a personal retreat to your specific hobbies, interests, and needs. Choose from an EMDR intensive package or coaching package. These packages are private pay only and payment plans are offered. For more information, check out the intensives page on our website.
Workshops, seminars, and classes are held virtually or in office on select dates to make these services more accessible to the general public.
Insurance Based Services
Individual counseling and Family counseling (including couples therapy are offered in 45-53 minutes sessions according to insurance standards). These services vary by location and provider. Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is available for children through adult to treat a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, life adjustments, grief, mood disorders, self harm, and disordered eating. Our team of therapists use a variety of clinical techniques to best meet each individual's needs. All of our therapists have specialized training and are culturally competent. We now have a bi-lingual team member allowing us to offer interpretation services to Spanish speaking clients/families (Germantown).
Trauma Informed Therapy
Our team of therapists are trained in a variety of approaches to treat attachment and trauma inlcuding Eye Movement Desentitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Exposure therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma Informed Play Therapy.
Our Founder and President, Katheryn McLendon LCSW is EMDR Certified and a Consultant in Training providing oversight to other EMDR trained clinicans. Katheryn now offers intensive EMDR sessions and trauma informed retreats.
DBT Informed Therapy
Most of our counselors offer DBT informed treatment including the use of DBT skills training, diary cards and chain analysis to improve emotion regulation and impulse control. DBT is effective for treating trauma, mood disorders, self harm, substance use, and neurodivergent disorders like ADHD and high funtioning Autism. It can also assist in decreasing urges and behavioral concerns related to excessive gaming and social media use, excessive spending and binge eating that often co-occur with other mental disorders.
Child Counseling / Play Therapy
Hope Evergreen has several counselors trained in the use of play therapy for children as young as 3 years of age. Each of our offices has a fully equipped play therapy room for children. Sandtray, art, music, expressive techniques, and technology enhanced equiptment may be utulized to assist people of all ages in the healing process (modalities vary by provider). Embrace your inner child and explore the benefits of experiential healing.
Couples Counseling
We have several counselors that specialize in couples counseling. Our counselors use a combination of approaches including Gottman, IMAGO, Jungian, and Family Systems to assist families in repairing and strengthening their relationships. Pre-marital counseling is available upon request with some providers.
School Based Therapy
Hope Evergreen has expanded our services to offer school based therapy. With permission from the school, our therapists can offer virtual or in person sessions during school hours, observe classroom behavior, and provide consultation to address concerns in the learning environment.
