At Hope Evergreen LLC, our mission is to provide high-quality counseling services to individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing emotional or psychological difficulties. Our motto is "Planting seeds of hope towards healing." We believe in giving back to our local community through partnerships and community involvement. Hope Evergreen LLC collaborates and supports non-profit organizations such as The Braid Foundation, Healing Hearts CAC, and Santa Danley's Toy Drive (Byhalia School District).
We believe in taking a client-centered approach to counseling, where we work collaboratively with our clients to identify their goals and develop a personalized plan for treatment. Each therapist has a unique set of skills and expertise allowing us to offer a variety of treatment approaches to best meet your needs. Several of our counselors are Youth Connect providers, a grant funded program designed to provide brief, limited counseling sessions to adolescents (13-18) free of charge in Shelby County, Tennessee. Katheryn McLendon LCSW-S is the founder and owner of Hope Evergreen LLC. Katheryn has 20 years of clinical experience. Katheryn is licensed in Mississippi & Tennessee to provide counseling and offers supervision to pre-licensed clinicans. She previously served as the Clinical Director of Daybreak Treatment Center and Adult Services Manager at Parkwood Behavioral Health.
Katheryn specializes in working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. Katheryn is EMDR certified. She is currently undergoing training in Spiritual Direction. She gives back to the community through her participation in the Youth Connect program for underserved adolescents in Shelby County, provides continuing education for masters level social workers, and offers clinical consultation for mental health professionals.
Katheryn McLendon is an approved LMSW supervisor in Tennessee and Mississippi. She will begin offering consultation as an EMDR consultant in training, effective January 2025.
