Life is full of change and unexpected events, and while it’s natural to
want to avoid or distract ourselves from life’s challenges, this approach is rarely the most helpful. I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate these transitions, manage difficult emotions, and ultimately move towards lasting change. With over 20 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with people from diverse backgrounds, addressing a wide range of concerns. Whether it is managing
symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress, or helping individuals cope with grief, medical diagnoses, or the complexities of relationships, my approach is always centered on building strength, resilience, and a positive outlook on therapy. My work experience has included providing support for children and adults, the collegiate population, survivors of domestic violence, and clients within local community organizations. I’ve worked extensively with individuals and families facing medical
challenges, and I’m especially passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health. In my therapeutic practice, I emphasize the importance of embracing uniqueness and individual differences, creating a safe space where clients feel empowered to explore their concerns.
I use an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs and drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities. Whether in person or through virtual counseling for Tennessee residents, my goal is to support you in exploring multiple perspectives, challenging yourself, and navigating your path toward positive change.
